Pay data: three months to October 2024
Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of October 2024.
- Incomes Data Research show the median pay award across the private sector at 3.9% for the three months to October (interquartile range: 3.0% to 4.0%).
- Brightmine recorded a median basic pay award of 4.0% across the whole economy for the three months to the end of October (based on 24 settlements covering almost a quarter of a million employees) – interquartile range: 3.0% to 5.5%.
- Deals reported to the LRD Payline averaged 4.0% across all agreements in October. Public sector deals outstripped those in the private sector, with medians of 5.5% and 3.5% respectively.
