Pay data: three months to November 2023

Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of November 2023.

  • XpertHR recorded a median basic pay award of 6.0% across the whole economy for the three months to the end of November (lower quartile: 5%; upper quartile: 7%).
  • According to the Labour Research Department, the median for workers on lowest basic pay rate for the three months ending November was 6.3%. The median standard increase (what most workers got) was slightly lower at 6.0%.
  • Incomes Data Research shows the median pay award at 5.0% for the three months to November (interquartile range 3.8% to 6.5%).
