Pay data: three months to June 2024

Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of June 2024.

  • Incomes Data Research shows the median pay award at 4.6% for the three months to June (interquartile range: 4.0% to 6.1%).
  • Brightmine (formerly XpertHR) recorded a median basic pay award of 4.9% across the whole economy for the three months to the end of June. Around half (47.3%) of all settlements that came into effect in the latest rolling quarter are worth between 4% and 5%, with 4% being slightly more common.
  • According to the Labour Research Department, the median pay rise in the three months to June was 5.0% for workers on all grades.
