November 2023 inflation data

The UK’s inflation rate in November 2023, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 3.9%.

The detailed inflation figures for the year to November 2023 are as follows:

  • CPI inflation was 3.9% in November 2023 (Index: 131.7), down from 4.6% in the year to October
  • RPI* inflation was 5.3% in November 2023 (Index: 377.3), down from 6.1% in the year to October
  • CPIH inflation was 4.2% in November 2023 (Index: 130.0), down from 4.7% in the year to October

*The Office for National Statistics no longer regards the RPI as an official measure of inflation.
