June 2024 inflation data

The UK’s inflation rate in June 2024, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was unchanged from the May figure at 2.0%.

The detailed figures for the year to June 2024 are as follows:

  • CPI inflation was 2.0% in June 2024 (Index: 134.1), unchanged from the May figure
  • RPI* inflation was 2.9% in June 2024 (Index: 387.3), slightly down from 3.0% in the year to May
  • CPIH inflation was 2.8% in June 2024 (Index: 133.0), unchanged from the May figure

*The Office for National Statistics no longer regards the RPI as an official measure of inflation.
