February 2024 inflation data

The UK’s inflation rate in February 2024, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 3.4%.

The detailed inflation figures for the year to February 2024 are as follows:

  • CPI inflation was 3.4% in February 2024 (Index: 132.3), down from 4.0% in the year to January
  • RPI* inflation was 4.5% in February 2024 (Index: 381.0), down from 4.9% in the year to January
  • CPIH inflation was 3.8% in February 2024 (Index: 130.8), down from 4.2% in the year to January

*The Office for National Statistics no longer regards the RPI as an official measure of inflation.
